Mercy Internal Medicine provides high-quality care for patients in Atlanta Metro who “need to see a doctor now” but who do not have a life-threatening condition warranting an emergency room visit. We provide care for common illnesses and injuries, wound repair, and a wide variety of minor emergencies.

Chronic Care Management
Chronic diseases are medical conditions that affects a patient for an extended period of time. There may or may not be a cure for the condition, but in almost every instance, these conditions and their symptoms can be controlled.
Dr. Ojo is specially trained to help prevent and treat diseases in adults and manage chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis, asthma, depression, COPD and more.Seeking the help early will allow you to continue living a healthy, enjoyable life.
Acute Care Treatment
We treat of a wide range of acute diseases. Acute diseases are typically those of rapid onset, brief and often times sever in nature. We are open Monday through Friday to treat non-life-threatening acute diseases and are also available after hours through our highly trained answering service. We have also partnered with local hospitals around you to help in case of emergencies.
Preventative Medicine
Routine checkups on an annual basis will help us work together with you to take better care of your health by building your health history for more effective health care management. Preventive care includes recommended annual screenings for cancer (such as colon cancer screens, pap smears, and prostate exams), updating vaccinations, annual wellness exams and encouraging a healthy diet and lifestyle. It also includes working with patients to help control risk factors such as obesity, elevated blood pressure and sugars and high cholesterol.
Men’s Health
We understand issues affecting men’s health. We are also sensitive and understand that men are hesitant about discussing some men's health concerns. We encourage and teach our men to perform regular testicular exams, screen for sexually transmitted diseases, and screen for erectile dysfunctions. We offer various medical treatment options including hormone therapy and counseling. If necessary, we will refer you to a specialist who can give specialized care in these conditions. Women’s Health
At Mercy Internal Medicine, we understand that a woman’s health cover a broad range of healthcare services. We cover the recommended routine cancer screening for women’s health. These include mammograms and pap smears. We encourage and teach our women how to perform regular breast exams. We perform regular screening for sexually transmitted dieases , osteoporosis, menopause, breast and ovarian cancers and more. If necessary, we will refer you to a specialist in areas of need. Diagnostic Testing
We know that early detection is the best cure for any disease. At Mercy Internal Medicine, we provide diagnostic tests in-house for your convenience. The tests we perform include pulmonary function tests, allergy tests, vascular disease tests, ultrasounds, EKG and more.

Immigration Physicals and Form I-693
When applying for a green card, an immigration medical exam must be completed through an authorized civil surgeon. All applicants must take a medical exam as the first step in the process. Mercy Internal Medicine has been a designated Civil Surgeon for over a decade.
